The first weekend of the year is just one day away, and even thought it’s been a short week I’m definitely ready! The first week back to work after the holidays is always hard to get through, especially when it’s FREEZING cold! I realize Dallas isn’t nearly as bad as some other places in the country, especially after just getting back from Ohio, but at least I get to play with winter pieces for a while!
Styling white jeans for winter is one of my favorite things to do for two reasons. One, it’s a bit unexpected and two, when done right, white lends itself well to the icy months of winter. For this look, I paired my jeans with a white puffer vest and a blush embellished sweater for a bit of a statement to an otherwise staple-heavy look.
Ya’ll, can we talk about this sweater for a minute though? 2017 was the year of the statement sleeve and I’m loving how that trend is carrying over into 2018! The ruffle bell sleeves and embellishments on this sweater add the perfect on-trend touch (just make sure to grab a large enough coat!).
