Fall is, without a doubt, the best season. The weather is nice, holiday season starts, and fall is full of the best shopping of the year – I mean, what’s not to love!? One of my favorite things about the change of season is pulling out all of my jewel tones and deep hues again, but pale neutrals for fall can be just as cozy!
Living in the south means sweater weather comes a little late and only lasts for a little while. Despite that, sweaters and boots are basically my uniform during those months which is why my goal this season is to stock up! There probably isn’t anything better than a cozy sweater and a hot coffee in the fall so when I saw this blush slouchy sweater I knew it would be the perfect piece to throw on as the weather cools down.
I paired this sweater with light taupe accessories and jeans for a casual, bright and airy look thats perfect for running errands in the fall (I’ll probably wear this outfit again this weekend for pumpkin carving!). For a slightly more dressed up look, I love wearing oversized sweaters with skirts – like I did here. These open toed suede booties are my favorite and I find myself reaching for them often since they match the bi-polar weather here perfectly. During the winter I would probably replace my booties with a pair of over the knee boots (like these!), but I didn’t want to look too bundled up right now – it is Texas, after all.
