It’s definitely getting hot here in Dallas, and by hot I mean “I don’t want to move, I just want to lay under a fan all day” hot. Which is why when I do have to venture outside into the humid, sultry heat I want to be wearing the least amount of clothing possible…in the classiest way :). Thank the good Lord for the crop top trend this season, they’re definitely a summertime necessity in the south. I’ve basically been living in crop tops and high waisted shorts on the weekends, and my favorite is this tied chambray one.

I’m in love my JORD wooden watch that JORD sent over for me to style for ya’ll (Thanks!), before this watch I had only my Michael Kors Double wrap watch which I love, but I needed to expand my collection. A good watch is such an essential for a good bracelet stack and these wooden ones are such fun statement pieces, I love seeing the wood grain on such a classic silhouette for a fun and unexpected pattern. I picked the Zebrawood watch because I thought it looked almost like tortoiseshell…which, if you read my blog, you’ll know I’m obsessed with. The pale, almost white, wooden watch was a very close second, but the bold wood grain on the one I chose really sold me. If I’m going to wear a wooden watch, why not go all out right? 😉
How are you dealing with the heat this summer?
